fitting b.900

the “angled supporting arm” stands for strength and solidity; a fitting without compromise. formally reduced to a minimum, its effect is not aimed at prestige but is plain and simple. both functionality and design focus on the essentials. the intelligent minimization extends to the striking, solid supporting rail that appears to be freely suspended.

astec b. 900 is a component of interior design. a wide range of door leaf materials form a symbiosis with b.900: glass in all variations from transparent to decorative, laminated sheet safety glass with printed foils and inlays, blended mineral materials in stone finish, or a variety of synthetic materials. added design feature: alternative positioning of the fitting on the door leaf allows additional variations.

fastening elements are just as invisible as the auxiliary elements: door stoppers and glass panel retainers. both functions are integrated in the supporting rail and hidden from view. fitting b.900 is devised to be noticed without obtruding. as a result, its design is uncompromising: the newly developed running gear with transparent rollers is the visual attraction. the intentionally selected UV-resistant polyamide material not only lends the rollers the appearance of glass, but is also characterized by solidity and durability.

precision ball bearings guarantee smooth, cushioned running. all parts out of stainless steel 1.4305 or 1.4301 (supporting rod). including all necessary connecting and retaining parts. manufactured on high precision cncmachining-centres. all visible surfaces ground and finely brushed, matt. the production plant is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.

the following projects have been realized using astec b.900:
